Retainer Fee & Final Payment Information
Common Questions
A $200 nonrefundable retainer fee, along with a signed contract, is required to officially book our services. Once these are received, The Right Note will sign and return a copy of the contract and mail (& email) you back a copy of your receipt for your records. If you have chosen to have a personalized gobo made for your reception, the cost for your gobo must be paid in full at least 60 days prior to your event. This is required in order to have your custom gobo design made. If you have any questions, please feel free to give us a call or send us an email at any time. Final payment (balance) is always due the day of.
How many songs do you have? We carry an extensive music library in all music genres from 1940's to present. If you have an unusual request that we do not carry we will be happy to obtain it, if we are given a reasonable amount of time. If it is unobtainable, we would be happy to play your CD.Can I make a "Play" and "Do Not Play" song list?Yes. At the time of your consultation, we will ask you for your requests, along with any songs that you do not want played. Do you use cd's, MP3's, or what? All of our music is on a digital based music system. We legally purchase our music and then convert it to an OTS music file at a 192 bit sample rate. We can also play your cd's if you so choose.Do you carry back up equipment?Yes, we carry a back PA system, laptop computer, microphone, and 2 external hard drives for our music (just in case!).Do you charge for consultations? There is no extra charge for consulations. We offer unlimited phone consultations to guide you in your event planning, and prefer to meet with you about a month prior to your event to discuss the details of your night. We also offer free access to our online event planner and music database for convenient planning in the comfort of your own home!Are there any former clients I can contact about your services?Yes. Cancellation of Events
The employer (you) reserves the right to cancel their scheduled event, however all retainer fees are nonrefundable. The retainer fee may be applied towards a future booking within one year of the original scheduled event if we have the date available. Gobo design and fabrication fees are also nonrefundable due to the personalized nature of the item.
Travel Fees/ Mileage
For events beyond 40 miles from Spring Lake, MI 49456, we charge an additional $1.50 per mile each way. This covers the extra distance and time to travel to your event.
